Nazlı Dayı Sakder, who was born in 1982 in Bursa, started to work in the field of graphic design after graduating from Uludağ University Department of Art Teaching, Graphic in 2010 ranking first. Nazlı Dayı Sakder, who is also an instructor for children’s mind games, is currently designing and producing children’s games and has focused on art works in recent years.
Cats, the symbol of living being, are the main elements describing struggle for existence. Cats chase the dreams, i.e., the “balls” they want to have. Black silhouette cats symbolize the traces of the past, colored ones, on the other hand, symbolize the future. Knots that cannot be untangled describe the challenges on the way to the goal, and the turbulent texture in the background describes the traces of the life that is built knot by knot.
The artist, who is preparing for solo exhibition, continues her works in her art studio in Bursa.
